There is an ancient, sacred way of working with plants that is innate to all of us. A lineage that has been passed down from healer to healer for millennia. A process of plant partnership with roots around the world.

This is plant spirit medicine. And no, I’m not talking about psychedelics (though that is certainly part of the plant spirit medicine path — and you will have much better psychedlic experiences if you ground your psychedlic experiences in what I’m about to share).

Plant spirit medicine is the art of building a strong and consistent healing plant practice by rooting your work in relationship with the plants around you. It’s communing with the spiritual dimensions of plants — a pathway of finding and knowing your core plant allies and discovering the myriad gifts they offer through dreams and journeys, resonance and the senses, and the mythic wisdom that has been shared over generations.

These teachings come from my studies with practitioner of Mayan shamanism in Colorado, from my Taoist mentor’s plant work, endless folk herbalism classes, my own ancestral guides in the spirit worlds…and from the innate, soulful relationship with plants that has always been within me, and is all of us.
