What most shamanic trainings miss - and why it sabatoges your power.
This is the real motivation behind Rewilding the Spirit
You know what was always missing from the shamanic trainings I attended back in the day?
Nature. (Read on to find out WHY)
Ironic, I know. Because it was my love of nature that drew me to the shamanic path in the first place.
I wanted to feel so intimately connected to the land that I could read the signs and omens presented to me. I wanted to talk with trees and have wild animal encounters and see fairies and make earth altars and sit in sacred circles…
Perhaps even more than nature alone, I craved ritual and ceremony in partnership with the natural world. I wanted to feel real, wild magic in my own life.
Instead, what I found was a really big emphasis on the otherworlds. Or “non-ordinary reality” as it’s often called.
This meant that every class focused on the shamanic journey.
Direct revelation, it was called. This is the ability to have your own relationship with spirit, without the need for any intermediaries.
Which, obviously, is awesome and much of the medicine needed in these times, so I stuck with my trainings.
But still. I knew something was missing. I never did get to commune with the actual Earth in the way my soul longed for during these workshops. I had to find my own ways.
Over a decade into my studies, which were primarily in core shamanism at the time because that’s what was available to me, I learned something interesting.
This separation from nature throughout the core shamanic curriculum was, at least in its origins, intentional.
Let me back up for just a wee moment to share some context here.
Core shamanism teaches a three-world model of cosmology, said to based on universal similarities in shamanic cultures. (I have my own thoughts about this, which you should definitely hop over and here.)
In short, the Upper and Lower Worlds are said to be divine realms, where you meet compassionate allies and receive healing, wisdom, and guidance.
The Middle World is parallel to our ordinary reality, a place with both compassionate and trickster energies. This is the realm of nature spirits…but also lost souls and other darker energies.
Pretty much every intro to shamanism class focuses only on Upper and Lower World explorations through the shamanic journey. Only in advanced classes, like psychopomp and soul retrieval, is Middle World journeying taught. And even then, those classes don’t touch on the beauty of the natural world.
(A note here: Many amazing teachers have created shamanic curricula that do integrate more connection with nature. Even the FSS and Sandra have created nature-based workshops over the years. But my journey started before these existed in core shamanism. And I'm strictly referring to the origins of well-known, established core shamanic curricula.)
The man who started this training, iykyk, primarily worked in the Middle World. He knew this is where all the real power for transformation and alchemy is found. Yet he intentionally designed a widespread curriculum that limited access to this realm. That limited access to real power.
Maybe this was meant to protect people — because it’s said to be too dangerous to work in the Middle World without more discernment and protection skills in place.
Maybe it was a power grab.
Who knows?
Either way, while my shamanic foundations were rich in so many ways…and even eventually included more natural world themes and content…
Not teaching people to immediately work with the natural world spirits of nature does a great disservice.
We need to rewild our consciousness. We need an ecologically-oriented body and mind. We need to live in partnership with the wild and magical realms of reality that we coexist with every single day.
This is why I created my Rewilding the Spirit curriculum.
It is everything that is the actual foundation of spirit work as a human in this wild world.
This is ancestral, folks. This is how our ancestors communed with nature and spirit and cosmos. This is in your DNA and your animal body craves this medicine.
This is not an idealized “leave your body and live in the heavens this realm doesn’t matter” nonsense.
This is an infantilized curriculum that doesn’t respect your ability to be wise and brave.
This is a multi-level certification program that expects you to pay your dues before you get to the good stuff.
Rewilding the Spirit is what is real. Magic. Transformational. And so very needed at this time in human evolution.
This is the course I was praying for when I started my journey. It didn’t exist, so I made it happen. Enjoy ;)
I only offer this program once a year, and we’re starting NEXT WEEK!
And I want to address something really important on this topic…
The money. Because I know that things feel shaky and life has gotten expensive lately (I’m feeling it too).
I’ve priced this program at third of it’s true value to make it as accessible as possible.
This program isn’t just a shamanic training or plant communication workshop. This is an in-depth small group coaching container for inner alchemy, filled with ritual, ceremony, and spirit work you won’t find in any similar program.
As a certified depth coach as well as a shamanic teacher with literal decades of experience, I track similar offerings frequently. And I know that what I’m sharing usually costs from $2500 - $6500.
Rewilding the Spirit is only $1500. And with the earlybird discounts, you can save another 20% on top of this. But only for a few more days.
Even if you have a busy summer coming up, take this course. You’ll have lifetime access to all the lessons and a whole bunch of discounts on future courses to make this even more worth your while.
Even if you’ve studied shamanism for years, I’m pretty sure you haven’t learned what I’ll be teaching.
Even if you’ve already been working with nature spirits and plants, I’m guessing the shamanic teachings of this training will take you deeper.
This is just really, really special. Max 12 people. Personal attention. A life-changing curriculum.
I hope I see you there.
