I really like your ideas on enjoying being human. Otherwise, I don’t see the point. There actually are rainbows, and stars, and funny movies, and hugs, and pets, and wild places! I just have to keep breathing and remember to appreciate.
I journey the Spirit Realms and teach others how to do the same for Spirit Communication, but never to get away from this world. It never entered my head. I guess I am too planted here. Although, I am a Boomer. That might have something to do with it. But as you mention it, I have recognized how the younger generations have extremely different views on it. Escapism is embraced with them. I first noticed the major divide years ago when cellphone texting made the scene. Even within the workplace. Communications between higherups and employees was by text! This, to me is when I noticed a generational difference in many things, including 'journeying' in other realms.
Ah I love hearing about your experience! It sounds like you have a good demonstration of the opposite of my own observations so far, lol. I probably draw a pretty self-selected crowd, so it's wonderful to hear what others are seeing. I wonder how this relationship with the spirit worlds will continue to shift with even younger generations. I have some curiosity about over saturation of spiritual teachings thanks to the internet -- it was so much harder for me to track down good information, or study with true teachers, earlier in my own journey. But of course, now I see many clients who find me because they have been down way too many rabbit holes and need support coming back to center. Watching and witnessing...
Oh you are so right about the saturation of spiritual teachings on the internet. You must already be 'knowing and discerning' to find a teacher to direct you in knowing and discerning, lol. I find myself teaching students to find one (or two) spiritual teachers that resonate and stick with them. I've seen too many students jump from one to another and another. And of course, the teachings (and integrity) would be wildly different. One student was 'shopping' for a meditation instructor. She really just wanted to learn to meditate. Found a guided meditation video on Youtube. She did not bother to research that person or look for reviews. Well, the meditation took her on a serious and deep journey. She asked me why she still felt disconnected after a week of viewing the meditation. I asked her what kind of closure did the author use to bring the person back? She asked what did I mean? After I explained that you must bring yourself back to the living body and third dimension at the end of the meditation... she said, No, she did not do that!! What? Believe me, it took a while to get her back in the body!
