I started out wild. To me it meant seeing a tiny man dance in the window well,as I opened my four year old eyes one quiet morning. It meant foraging and gorging on wild blackberries. It meant being as excited as Christmas morning every time I happened upon a free and wild creature. Slowly, culture taught me to place a sticky, false gauze over the senses of that open hearted, open minded way a knowing my world. Connecting back to my “wild” heart brings daily gratitude and appreciation for how amazing and gorgeous so much of being alive can be.

This is so beautifully shared. Thank you so much for these words! They share exactly the experiences I mean when I talk about being wild. Love it!
